About
Who is the person writing this?
I am a med student with a passion for neuroscience.
Why does this exist?
As already mentioned: I really enjoy neuro-stuffs. I would even go as far as to say, it probably had quite of an impact on my life trajectory (corny to say, I know).
Also: Since I was a kid, I love playing around with "tools" - whether it be manual tools, hardware or software. I enjoyed screwing around with software (trust me you couldn't see the webpages from all the browser-toolbars), I built my first computer when I was 12 years old. I always get excited when I find a new tool to work with. Bookstack is one of those tools I recently discovered. I really like the idea perspectives
Another reason is creativity. During school days I very much enjoyed English class and similar classes, in which we were tasked with writing up analytical issues. uysal.science
I also really like explaining biology-stuffs to people. Not because I think that I am in any way qualified (as I mentioned I am just a tiny-little med student). As you can imagine, the interests I have mentioned are quite specific. Most normal people don't enjoy yapping about some random receptor on some random cell for multiple minutes. Often times I read about something and then think "hey this is so cool, I'd love to tell someone about it!", but I usually have nobody to share it with. Thus I turn to the infinite void of the cloud and speak to you, random person on the interwebs!

A short History of NeuroWiki
Ahh yes, the many technical troubles I have faced while setting this up. I am not sure if anyone would care, probably not, but I need somewhere to vent off my struggle with setting this up.
